Imalent DT70 16000 Lumens BEAST Flashlight

The Imalent DT70 is one of the craziest monster flashlight today as of 2017. It outputs max of 16000 lumens with 4x LEDs and offers you a full package (comes with battery and USB charge feature), which you can play out of the box, without having to buy anything extra. Sum it up in short, if you like monster flashlight, or what we call pocket monster, you will want to own one of these. The 16000 lumens is legit, but some say it is about 13000 lumens or about only, which doesn't matter much to be honest.  I have the Thrunite TN36 2017 and it is a 10000 lumens light by Thrunite. This beast IS BRIGHTER than the Thrunite by far, so you know what I mean now?

Here goes the 4x LED on the Imalent DT70, and the orange peel reflector is quite deep, which gives you a good amount of throw. The box says 700m of throw, and yes this is throwy for such a crazy bright flooder light. I have never seen a flooder that throwy too.

Roll the light over, and here goes the OLED screen with voltage display and the lumen / mode display. The 2 rubber buttons are easy to press and will not be turn on by accident for sure. It does take some force to push and turn it on. I have to say, the voltage reading on this light is not very accurate, but it is better to have the estimation feature than not have.

Roll the light over, you will see the USB port behind the rubber seal / cover. This rubber cap can be pulled off easily with some force, be careful not to lose it when you are out in the dark.

The back is pretty, you will see the imalent DT70 word in big bolded font, and the "flood king" who claimed to have 700m of throw, but still a "flood king". What the heck eh?

The light has a few modes, from 80lm, 1000lm, 5000lm, 8500lm and then the 16000lm.
When you turn on the light, you can see the OLED, and yup the anti-roll design really works.

Here goes the 16000  lumens mode, and everywhere is white-out, super scary bright.

As I said before, the Imalent DT70 comes with 4x batteries and they are 3000mah Samsung brand INR18650 inside. I know because I ripped one of the battery and rewrapped it, and the inside says Samsung! :)  Nice battery for nice flashlight, good combo!
I forgot to add, this light can operate on 1x, or 2x, or 3x, or 4x battery, and if you watch my review, you will see my testing with it. That means, if your battery died on the trip, and you are left with only 1x 18650, you can still put it into this light and enjoy your bright night. It's super cool to have this feature, which even the Thrunite TN36 don't have!

Here goes the big strong springs in the body, and some people say that these springs will loosen up with time and not hold the contact well. I don't know how it will really do, but to me they are still doing fine at this moment. We will update the crowd if something happen to wear out and not work later on.

That's right, the Imalent DT70 is another palm size monster, or a pocket monster. It actually fits my jacket's pocket on the side.  Very good size for camping and even walking. I have been walking with this light for a few days now and it is a joy to walk with it daily. Super cool to see the 16000 lumens blast of light from time to time - although it is dangerous to blast it out when cars are driving by!

Here is the size comparison between the HaikeLite MT03 ont he left, and the Thrunite TN36 2017 on the right. The Imalent DT70 is a bit taller than both but slimmer than the Haikelite. The anti-roll design on the Imalent DT70 is better than the two others. They are all good lights, but the 16000 lumens is hard to beat, it's really crazy bright!

NexTorch E51 EDC 1000 Lumens and USB Charge!

NexTorch E51 is another nice affordable EDC flashlight by NexTorch, and just like all their products (at least most of them), these lights all come "ready to play" with the nice 18650 already included in the box!  All you need is plug it in and charge the light, then there goes your toy for the night!  The NexTorch E51 is also USB-rechargeable, so there is no need for any charger too!  Great light for the buck!

The packaging for NexTorch flashlights are pretty much the same style, clean and tidy look, very nice and friendly.

As you can see, the NexTorch E51 comes with 3 main modes (low, mid and high) plus a strobe if you do ever need it for self defense situation. The high mode goes up to 1000 lumens and is actually quite bright to be honest. It is missing a moonlight mode to be perfect, but for outdoor and EDC, I am fine.  I really do wish they have a moonlight mode though.

Here is the 18650 (2600mah) battery included in the package. Yes, 2600mah is a little bit low in capacity, but the package also stated that the specs are tested with the same battery, so you are pretty much ensured to have the runtime as claimed.

See the gold plated springs and stuff? Wow, beautiful!

Don't ask me how I managed to take that shot... inside the tube!  Dual springs design, meant for smacking and smashing! Nice!

One thing to mention is that the threads are VERY smooth and fits perfectly, it feels like JUST the threads are already "air sealing" when you screw it up, crazy!

See the button? N"T" and a battery is the logo for NexTorch I guess? Cool button!  Too bad, it is not tailstand-friuendly, but it is thumb-friendly for pressing, good enough.  The head of the light also does not have any sexy stainless steel bezel, but it looks pretty sexy like that somehow, more "friendly looking" and less attention grabbing for some sensitive situations.

The body and the name..

You have to unscrew the head out to get access to the USB port, which is actually sealed by o-rings!  The head cannot come off the light, so you just screw it out all the way you can and it will stick out like this, nothing more.

Nice smooth reflector, giving you a bit more throw power.

Now you can see the light and my hand, showing you the size..!

At the end I would like to conclude that the NexTorch E51 is actually pretty good as an EDC light, and for this kind of budget, it's actually quite good.  The button can be a good thing for it to NOT be tailstand friendly, because you can really get that strobe out when you need.

Klarus G20 - 3000 lumens in Palm, Must Have!

I kept asking myself, which flashlight should I take with me tonight, and which one should be the "to go" flashlight if I have to choose one and only one? The Klarus G20 is my conclusion as of today, it is always in my jacket when I go out, because of a few very good reasons. I have done a lot of reviews on YouTube about this light too, and not forget GearBest also got a discount coupon code that might still work for you if you are in luck!

Klarus G20 is on sales at HALF PRICE - http://tidd.ly/7012eb13 From $128.89 to $61.99!!!! (Coupon: 3RDGBK20) CRAZY DEAL

Nothing is better than a floody beam at night, look at that sexy reflector on the Klarus G20, it's really floody and freindly for walking at night, or even walking in the woods. It's not "too floody" with no throw, which is also why I liked it so much. You can still light up things across the street and spot people far away, which makes it very useful.

The only complain I have is the button ont he side, which is too easy to depress by accident. I wish they make it harder to press, or use the flat / flush design like the Thrunite, which can avoid a lot of accidental power-on issue.  But again, no light is perfect as of today.

The Klarus G20 is very much a full package, it comes with a 5000mah 26650 battery, and also rechargaeble by the USB port, which is covered by a rubber cover. The light is water-proof and such, which you do not have to worry abouton the rainy days or even dropping it into the river by accident.

Why is this light so beloved here?  Because it is a full package on its own, you don't need extra charger, you don't need extra batteries, and this light will last for days before needing a recharge if you use it wisely.

There is also a switch on the tailcap side which is extra handly for tactical user, or giving you an extra option of instant-moonlight mode by using this switch. The switch is also not protruding too much, so it will not affect the tailstand ability of the light too. Schweet!

YES! 5000mah battery, 26650 cell by Klarus!  That means, long runtime, which is essential for a real survival light or a bug-out light. You don't want a light that only last for 1-3 hours!

Double springs from top and bottm to prevent your battery from being crushed, and also protecting the boards from damages, shock-proof design, and of course, sealed by o-rings to eliminate any dirty stuff or water / moist-air from going into the tube!

Enough side, youtube video time!

Klarus RS20, Best Flashlight for Walking in The Dark

The Klarus RS20 is one tough flashlight, because I have beaten it up very badly with my first one, smashed it against concrete wall and such to make sure it can withstand my abuse. Turn out the light is indeed tough enough for the job, but the side LED died or malfunction after those tests. I have got my replacement head from Klarus and it works great again. I would say that if you are using it as a flashlight and just dropping it by accident, it won't damage the light at all. I only did the job to kill the LED from REALLY smashing the light on concrete. Guess what, the light held up and the front LED is working fine. It's tough and it's definitely a life saving flashlight for any situation. I personally suggest this Klarus RS20 if you need a good flashlight for your night time walk.  Why?  Because it can shine both ways to make everything clear for you.  It's super practical and I love its side LED's brightness!  Before we dig into the review, you can buy the light here:

Buy Klarus RS20 from GearBest $67.14 - http://goo.gl/TPA2n7
Use "GBLED2016 " for 8% discount!

The two buttons design is nice, and they are easy to use and understand by simple logic. Top button for the main light out the front, bottom button for the side LED. You cannot get it wrong in the dark, because one button is bright in color and one is black!  The light is all sealed up and waterproof, so you don't have to worry about anything getting into the light through those buttons, it's all good and safe.

Here is the front LED, 1050 lumens max, running on one 18650 inside the battery, which is included along with it's charging cable. One thing you want to know is how this charging port works!

This is the tail of the flashlight, and basically it's a magnetic surface that does not require any kind of flip, flop, open, but just SNAP that USB cable (provided in the package) on it and the light will start charging. This also ensure that the light is water proof and there is not silly rubber cover to deal with.

High mode on the side LED is 440 lumens, very bright..!
One more click, low mode, still very bright to be honest...!

These RGB is crazy, it's the brightest flood style RGB on the market I have seen. Klarus is not telling us that these are "bonus", they are ALSO your primary light bulb!

The green LED...
The blue LED...!
Here is the front shining out its 1050 lumens of light!

You can use both at the same time too, which is the main reason why I said this light is going to be great for walking at night. You can see both the front and the floor at the same time.

Mine comes with a Klarus 3400 mah battery. The battery is bi-directional, so you won't go wrong either way you put it in the light.

MEGA thick wall there...!

Here goes the light being charged. There is a red light under the USB charging port, and when the light is charged, it will turn green! This is amazing and quick, you really do not have to deal with any moisture in the air and risk getting your flashlight some annoying condensation in the head!

After my new head arrived for the Klarus RS20, I noticed that all lights, especially the side lights, seems to be brighter than my first one. Maybe an update or something?  Anyway, get yours today, it's a great quality flashlight that will be a game changer for you if you walk at night all the time, or you just need a light for scouting around a building or any places at night. This light will make you smile!  Most important is, it comes with battery and everything you need (including a cool holster too). You are getting the light itself at like $50 and under!  Crazy deal!

Best Micro Flashlight, Super Deal - $20 Only!

JETBeam Mini-1 is on sales now for $19.99 only and you don't want to miss out this crazy good deal. Even without the sales discount, it's still a very decent light, and you can always get 8% discount using my code "GBLED2016" too. Buy Jetbeam Mini-1 here: http://goo.gl/cLLzTo

I will try to cut it short, but just so you know, this is a light that comes with a super complete package, and it's a great gift idea for yourself, your love one, or even your kids!  The light is very small, or microscopic I should say. Don't be fooled by its size, it's firing out 130 lumens of light!

The JETBeam Mini-1 is not like your normal keychain light, it's more like a pendant you can wear around your neck. The package comes with a chain too, but I find that the chain sometimes likes to eat my hair at the back, um...

This is not a trashcan, it's the JETBeam Mini-1 upside down, with the head unscrewed, and there goes the protected and o-ring sealed USB charging port. The idea of putting the USB charging port there is just ingenious. You cannot believe how well everything is designed and put together!  The USB charging port allows you to plug the light to any micro USB port, such as the cable that you use to charge your phone, and it will start charging!

A better show of the head and chain, it actually do look good with the chain, maybe it's me who needs to shave my neck's hair and it will work...!

There goes the USB in action, and a red light shows up when charging. The light turns to green when it's done charging. Usually it takes about 30mins to 1hr to fully get it charged up if your battery is really low. Sometimes just plug it in once a while and it will only take about 10-15mins to top up. If this is your EDC and you do use it from time to time, it's always a good idea to charge it once a week at least, just to be safe. If you do use it often, then of course charge it when you get home!

You can see the nice threading there, it's a well cut threading, and fits great, no wobble or any play when assembled together. Sturdy!

The whole package disassembled!  You get all these things in the box, and also a manual and some o-rings etc. But again, who cares about manual and such. This is what you actually take and use at the end. Good enough!  You can buy spare batteries for this light HERE and they are not expensive, given that they are all rechargeable.  The high mode of 130 lumens will last about 20mins, while the low mode of about 10 or so lumens will last you 6 to 7 hours, that's a full night of runtime!

Low mode, very bright to be honest, it doesn't look like 10 lumens to me, but more.

High mode, 130 lumens, and I can compare this to my Thrunite Ti3 which is 120 lumens, and they look very similar to me.  Definitely legit!

As you can see the light is super small compared to my pen there. Great for ladies too!  If you want to see it in action, here are my YouTube reviews. As I said, so far, this is the BEST pendant light package on the market, because it comes with all the things you need and the light is very well built. You can just buy this and give it to your friend or love one, and they can use it right out of the box. The DQG series is nice, but it doesn't come with battery and charger, plus the packaging is cheap as crap. You want this JETBeam Mini-1 to impress people, and give them a full and joyful experience from the beginning to the end. This thing is legit, buy one!!!  I never feel so high about a small light, but this thing is definitely something you want to buy and put it on your neck all the time.

As you can see, for such a small light, outputting that much power is just insane. What's better is that if you are encountering any accidents or blackout, this light's low mode can guide you out the dark space even it will take you 5-6 hours to pull through. Not bad!  I will definitely use this as my EDC...!

Again,  "GBLED2016" for 8% discount if sales is over.
